I’m Prerak Siroya, a 20-year-old Commercial Pilot from Udaipur, Rajasthan, who earned his wings at just 19.I founded Runway to Sky (RTS) to be the solution to the problem I faced: a lack of clear, honest guidance in aviation. When I started my journey, I struggled with confusing information about exams, medicals, costs, and training schools.
Now, I use my firsthand experience to provide transparent, simplified roadmaps for students and parents.We specialize in all major aviation careers—Pilot, Cabin Crew, ATC, AME, and Ground Staff—giving you real facts, accurate budgeting, and expert support to launch your career the smart way.

Yes it’s considered equivalent to 12th science stream.
No. But required subjects (physics / maths) can be passed separately from a board or NIOS.
DGCA requirement is 12th pass with physics and maths but certain airlines have their own criteria. Max percentage required is 60.
For cpl, student has to be class I medically fit.
There is a two stage medical requirement. Initially class 2 medical has to be done. The list of class 2 dgca approved Doctors is available on daca website and class 1 as well. Initial class 1 medical has to be done at Air Force centres and 2 private hospitals Nanavaty Mumbai and appolo Chennai.
Specs are allowed. Vision with glasses has to be 6/6. Some forms of Color blindness is not accepted-must get a confirmation by class 2 doctor for the same.

The cost to obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) varies by country:
India ₹50–55 lakhs, USA ₹65–70 lakhs, New Zealand ₹70–75 lakhs, South Africa ₹40–45 lakhs, Maldives ₹50 lakhs, and Philippines ₹45–50 lakhs.Cost varies from school to school.
